The weather really held out for us and we did this awesome 7 mile hike up to a place called Fairy Falls. One of our books says that 99% of people who visit Yellowstone never go more than a mile off the road, we're so glad we're not them! We also got a chance to be alone with one of the park's geysers, Imperial Geyser. We didn't see too many folks out on the trail, well, not many people anyway. There were, of course, plenty of bison. We had to backtrack at one point instead of completing the loop, we entered a clearing and there were thirty or so bison grazing right across our trail.
