Here we are at Old Faithful, just before it erupted.
A few folks, myself included, expressed concern about the nature of my honeymoon. They (and I) wondered about all the driving, the camping and the long exposures to nature. After a few weeks of what is almost gratuitous natural beauty, I have to endorse our honeymoon choice with two enthusiastic thumbs up. Having lived in Colorado for most of my life I was pretty sure that I was being exposed to what might be the pinnacle of natural beauty in America. I wasn't sure that after I'd seen The Grand Canyon, some of the Pacific Northwest, the Everglades, Sedona and the Colorado Rockies that I could be super-impressed by nature. I was so, so wrong. Yellowstone in itself is a marvel that I'm not sure can be experienced elsewhere and then Grand Teton, which is only a few miles South is so different and so breathtaking that it would have been criminal to miss it. I'm ready to be impressed. Do your best, Nature.
